Still using 700MHz Microphones? Here's why you will want to transition...

Did you know that once the digital transition is complete that it will be illegal to use 700 MHz (698-806MHz) wireless microphones?
Channels in this range were reallocated to Public Safety, with the remaining channels sold to new wireless device manufacturers as part of the digital transition.

1. Decreased distance of wireless microphones transmission, which will continue to decrease.
2. Unpredictable noise disruptions, caused by new portable handheld devices, which will increase as time progresses.
3. Emergency call interruptions or noises caused by Public Safety Broadcasts.
4. Legal ramifications and steep fines.

Many manufacturers are offering 1 of 2 options that can lessen the cost of the transition that out of 700MHz, trade-in discounts or reprogramming.
