AJA Video, a leading manufacturer of professional video interface and conversion solutions, announced a new software upgrade to its XENA line of video playback and capture cards. XENA 2K, LH, and LS will support the upcoming versions of Adobe(r) Premiere(r) Pro CS3, After Effects(r) CS3 and Photoshop(r) CS3, all of which are part of the Adobe Creative Suite(r) 3 Production Premium release. The XENA 3.0 software will support Mac, Windows XP, and Windows Vista, and will be available when Adobe ships its CS3 Production Premium software. Expected Q3 of 2007, XENA Version 3.0 software upgrade will ship with all new XENA cards and will available as a free upgrade to all existing XENA 2K, LH, and LS card owners. Furthermore, this new version of XENA 3.0 software will include support for KONA 3, KONA LH and KONA LS owners. It will also be available to XENA HS owners, in Premiere Pro 3.0 for Windows only. At NAB in Las Vegas, AJA is demonstrating pre-release versions of XENA 3.0 software running on both Windows and Mac systems, at their booth SL6113.
