The CP481-008 is field upgradable in the event of changes to video conference equipment, interface changes, additional equipment to control (Projectors, LCD Panels, DVD players, motorized Screens, lighting, etc), ancillary equipment (HVAC, motorized blinds, etc). Additional features of the CP481-008:
The CP481-008 resistive panel technology senses “touch” from a finger, stylus, pen, pencil, gloved finger, or other tool. The touch screen is very accurate and responsive to the touch.

The two COM ports can control virtually any serial device using standard RS-232 communication. The two LAN ports allow connectivity to a local area network or a direct connection to another TCP/IP device. The panel also supports wireless LAN in addition to the wired RJ-45 connection. Finally, the panel also supports Bluetooth. The Bluetooth module inside each CP481-008 is compatible with most peripheral devices like headsets, barcode readers, printers, cell phones, and more.

The CP481-008 can be mounted to a stand for table use; it can be wall or rack mounted. The standard VESA mount on the back supports a variety of third-party mounting mechanisms as well for a myriad of potential mounting options.
