The ELMO P30 doubles as full-featured XGA output document camera and professional digital-effects, slide-show producer. Its proprietary Image Mate software for presentation and movie creation makes possible storage/playback of still/moving image data and creation of 'PC-less' presentations. MSRP is $2950.

This presentation tool can produce video/film slide shows from all images captured on the SD memory (Flash) card (opt.) permitting full manipulation and control of the images captured and saved to the P30's SD memory. It has storage capacity for 2048 XGA images (1024X768 pixels). Images stored in the SD memory can be easily downloaded to a PC's hard drive via USB port as JPEG images for archiving or for enhancing PowerPoint presentations.

Professional slide shows can be produced easily from documents, 3D objects, 35mm slides/film strips merging them into Hollywood-style productions with effects such as fades, wipes, interval slide feed, stripes, door, shutter, repeat function and other special visual effects. It has a standard 35mm slide/film strip viewer/adapter.

The full-featured document camera delivers impressive multi-media presentations with a data/video projector or large-screen LCD display. Its high-resolution 850,000 pixel Progressive Scan CCD captures sharp, color-accurate images for faithful reproduction of full-size A3 documents with text as small as 10 pt. and 3D objects. Fast 20 frames per second scan rate for real-time images. 15x power zoom with 4x digital extender/auto-manual focus provides extreme close-ups of minute objects or samples.

The rotatable head with flip-up/down attached close-up adapter can focus on almost anything in the room. Horizontal and reverse camera-head positioning with image rotation capability permits easy viewing of blackboards, flip-charts, large artwork, sculptures, portrait viewing as well as an auxiliary camera for use with videoconferencing systems. DVI output minimizes noise and unnecessary artifacts which degrade the image.

NTSC/PAL 117VAC/60Hz; 220VAC/50Hz compatible. At less than 10 lbs., it weighs considerably less than other popular full-featured document cameras.
