Extron MVC 121
Microphone and Line Level Mixer with Volume Control

The Extron MVC 121 is a high performance Microphone and Line Level Mixer with Volume Control. Equipped with RS-232 control capability, the MVC 121 is easy to integrate into existing A/V systems where control needs to be simple and centralized, including such environments as small classrooms and meeting rooms. The MVC 121 is designed for intuitive operation with two microphone/line level inputs and a third line level only input, each with its own volume control. The mixer also provides 48V microphone phantom power to enable the use of condenser microphones.

· RS-232 control - A rear panel, captive screw port provides RS-232 connectivity of the MVC 121 to remotely control audio mixing and volume.
· Three input mic/line mixer - Two mono microphone inputs are mixed with a stereo line level input.
· Two microphone inputs with mic/line level option (DIP switch-selectable) - Two inputs of the MVC 121 will accommodate either a mic level wired microphone or a line level wireless microphone.
· 48V microphone phantom power - Switchable 48V phantom power enables the use of condenser microphones.
· Fixed and variable line level outputs - The fixed output is ideal for recording devices or other equipment such as external Assistive Listening Systems (ALS), while the variable output is designed to drive a power amplifier.
· Smooth volume control - Adjustments are made in 0.5dB increments, ensuring smooth transitions when changing volume levels.
· Front panel LEDs - The MVC 121 features one set of four LEDs to display volume levels for each channel.
· Individual volume adjustment - Each input, as well as the master program output, has its own volume adjustment, which can be individually turned on or off.
· Contact closure mute control - For simple applications without a control system, the microphone and line level inputs can be individually muted via contact closure.
· Front panel security lockout - The MVC 121 offers two modes of front panel security lockout. The first mode locks out all front panel controls except the master volume control, giving the presenter limited control for on-the-fly adjustments. The second mode locks out all the front panel volume controls to prevent unauthorized use or tampering.
· External international power supply - The 100-240VAC, 50/60 Hz, autoswitchable external power supply provides worldwide power compatibility (part # 70-055-01).
