Panasonic is happy to announce that the AJ-HPX2000 P2 HD Camcorder and AJ-HPM100 P2 HD Mobile are now compatible with Panasonic’s ultra-reliable AJP2C016RG 16GB P2 Card. Both of these models, if shipped during or before July 2007 will require a simple and free firmware upgrade. AJ-HPX2000 & AJ-HPM100 models shipped in August 2007 already include 16GB compatibility and *DO NOT need be to be upgraded (with a few exceptions. See notes below, for further details). Please note, once you have upgraded your AJ-HPX2000, AJ-HPM100, or, other P2 product with 16GB P2 Card compatibility, you will automatically be compatible with the 32GB P2 Card – when it is available later this year.
