Panasonic is proud to introduce a new series of versatile, high-performance, ultra-portable LCD projectors, the PT-LB50NTU, PT-LB50U and PT-LB50SU. These high-performance projectors provide the highest image quality with true color replication. The PTLB50 models are ideal for business, government, education and religious projection applications.

The PT-LB50 series projectors continue the tradition of the PT-LB20 series with valuable features such as Auto Setup, which automatically sets digital keystone, dot clock and clock phase and Index Window, which allows the presenter to freeze the image on half the screen while continuing the presentation on the other half of the screen. PT-LB50 models also incorporate anti-theft features including Control Panel Lock, Text Superimpose and Password Protection.

Other features in the PT-LB50 series include Direct Power Off, which runs the fans for the entire cool down cycle when the power to the projector is shut off. This feature preserves lamp life and protects the projector from lamp heat due to improper projector shut down. The Improved Quick Start feature places an image on screen within two seconds of turning on the projector. This, combined with Direct Power Off, enables presenters to maximize their time in meetings.

The new Enhanced Daylight View-2 Technology increases the projector’s performance by 50%, making a 2000 lumen projector perform like a 3000 lumen projector. Daylight View-2 Technology provides vivid colors even in brightly lit rooms. And, with the Ambient Light Sensor (ALS), Daylight View automatically detects the intensity of ambient light and white balance to automatically optimize the colors on screen.

The new PT-LB50NTU projector introduces the 6th generation of wireless technology using IEEE802.11b/g standard to enable high-speed data transfer. Higher transfer speed enables smoother PowerPoint animations and transitions, and also allows for the transfer of PC movies with sound. The PT-LB50NTU uses the wireless manager control panel. The wireless manger set up has been upgraded to the Wireless Manager ME3, which enables easier installation and operation. Wireless Manager ME3 controls up to 16 PCs. And in the Multi-Live mode, up to 16 computers can communicate to one projector or one PC and send images to up to 8 projectors.
