Sony Introduces New IEEE 1394.b Digital Video Cameras
After Sony announced the discontinuation of: DFW-SX910, DFW-X710, XCD-SX910,
XCD-SX910CR, XCD-SX910UV, XCD-V50, XCD-V50CR, XCD-X710, XCD-710CR
they have announced the following new cameras:
XCD-V60: B/W 1/3" VGA (640x480) at 90fps
XCD-V60CR: Raw Color 1/3" VGA (640 x 480) at 90fps
XCD-SX90: B/W 1/3" SXGA (1280 x 960) at 30 fps
XCD-SX90CR: Raw Color 1/3" SXGA (1280 x 960) at 30 fps
XCD-U100: B/W 1/1.8" UXGA (1600 x 1200) at 15fps
XCD-U100CR: Raw Color 1/1.8" UXGA (1600 x 1200) at 15 fps
 
These high-quality, compact digital cameras allow you to match the resolution
that your application requires in black/white or color format. All of these cameras
adapt the efficient image transfer, taking advantage of the extended
bandwith that the IEEE-1394.b interface offers. In addition, these Sony
cameras comply with the IIDC 1.31 specification to ensure compatibility with PCs
equipped with a standard IEEE-1394 interface.
With a variety of other convenient features including external trigger input
and selectable video modes, these cameras are ideal for a variety of machine
vision applications, such as printed circuit board and barcode inspection,
bottle inspection and image processing and analysis.
