Compatible with Sony’s XCI-SX1 and XCI-V3 Smart Cameras, these new accessories will help customers install and utilize Sony Smart Cameras.

XCI-VBOX
The new XCI-VBOX is an interface system for Sony’s XCI Smart Camera series that provides a complete factory and wiring system for installing Sony Smart Cameras in industrial process control, labeling, traffic monitoring and research applications. The XCI-VBOX combines high-power, trigger input, strobe output, I/O and RS232C serial communication with a high-stability LED strobe light controller. This integrated LED strobe lighting controller precisely synchronizes a wide variety of LED lighting systems with the camera’s exposure interval and delivers a controlled amount of energy to generate illumination that is consistent from shot to shot with a variance of less than a grayscale.

XCI-VCABLE
The XCI-VCABLE is 4-6’ breakout cable for use with Sony’s XCI Smart Cameras and the XCI-VBOX. It features a 15 pin male d-sub on one end, bifurcated at the other end into two Hirose connectors: 6 – pin male; 12-pin female. The cable incorporates all of the data and interface signals from the camera and presents them to factory wiring terminals and industry-standard connectors on a DIN rail mountable black anodized enclosure.

XCI-VPWR
The XCI-VPWR supplies DC power to the XCI-VBOX.
