Sony Electronics is demonstrating its full range of professional display capabilities at Booth 4000, Hall C. Visitors to the Sony exhibit will be able to experience these technologies through a variety of interactive and simulated "real-world" scenarios, all designed to highlight the practical benefits and applications of Sony's display systems.

Sony technologies at InfoComm will include large-format LCD and plasma displays for digital signage and hospitality applications, LCD business projectors, and the SXRD(tm) 4K large venue projector. Sony is also featuring the new BVM-L230 LCD master monitor, the first reference monitor to combine the critical evaluation characteristics of CRT designs with the benefits of LCD technology.

Sony is unveiling 12 new or newly developed LCD projector models at InfoComm, from "road warrior" models to networkable models for fixed installations. These include the VPL-FX40, VPL-FE40 and VPL-VW100/P. The VPL-FE40 and VPL-FX40 projectors both produce 4,000 ANSI lumens and are the first Sony models to feature BrightEra technology.

The VPL-VW100/P is Sony's first business projector to incorporate SXRD technology, which is also at the core of Sony's SXRD large-venue projectors.

The SRX Series 4K projectors provide an image resolution of more than 8.8 million pixels, and include the 10,000 lumen SRX-R110 and SRX-S110 and the 5,000 lumen SRX-R105 and SRX-S105.

Finally, Sony is demonstrating its range of LCD and plasma displays and plug-in network cards for digital signage in hotels, stadiums and airports, among others. Sony's plug-in cards include the BKM-FW50, ICS-FW40 and ICS-FW40D, which can be used to drive a complete IP-based digital signage network.
