Videotek's RS-12HD High Definition video routing switcher with true passive looping inputs achieves a new level of performance and flexibility. The RS-12HD expands on the proven reliability and straightforward operation of the popular RS-12 family of 12x1 routers. Unique passive looping video inputs assure that all HD input signals are passed without distortion. With user-selectable multi-protocol support for serial communications, the RS-12HD can be operated at distances up to 1,000 feet with the optional RSP12 control panel. External reference sources (tri-level sync or composite blackburst) assure exceptional stability for vertical interval switching. This non-reclocking router easily handles any serial digital input- from 270Mb/s through 1.485 Gb/s for 480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i formats.
