The CD-1 is a clever box that lets you quickly and easily pull apart an HD or SD-SDI signal. More than just a caption decoder, the CD-1 also lets you pick any stereo audio pair from the SDI stream for listening, and can generate its own video test patterns. It also acts as a splitter giving you not only an un-touched re-clocked output of your SDI signal input, but two SDI and one DVI output with captioning displayed (or “burnt-in”) on-screen when activated.

The CD-1 is compatible with WST, 608/708, and OP-47 caption or subtitling standards.
