Sony NIPROS/1 Studio System
The new NIPROS/1 studio system is designed with small camcorders in mind. The system allows the adaptation of Sony HD Handycam® camcorders for use in studio operations and multi-camera field productions (AC or 12VDC operation). Now, together with the new PMW-EX3, full 1920x1080 HD productions are within the reach of smaller budgets, allowing more facilities to move up to high definition.

The NIPROS/1 optical studio system package includes a NIPROS PS570 base station unit, PS270 camera interface unit, LVM-35W 3.5” color LCD wide-screen return video monitor, two intercom headsets, as well as all necessary interface cables for connection of the camcorder to the PS270 camera interface unit.

Sony PMW-EX1 Full-HD Camcorder With SxS PRO Recording
The PMW-EX1 is the first in a new range of professional HD products - called XDCAM EX - which record onto memory-based SxS ExpressCard media. Designed from the ground up to exploit the ultimate high performance of SxS PRO memory cards, the PMW-EX1 combines a state-of-the-art, non-linear XDCAM workflow with simply the best HD quality yet seen in a compact camcorder. It is also the first handheld camcorder to carry the legendary CineAlta 24P brand with multiple frame rate recording capability such as 59.94i, 50i, and native 23.98P, as well as being 1080i/720P switchable.

Sony PMW-EX3 Solid-State Memory Camcorder
The PMW-EX3 camcorder features similar functionality to the PMW-EX1, but it allows user to make lens choices depending on the nature of their project, through its interchangeable lens system. The PMW-EX3 camcorder features gen-lock and timecode in/out for multi-camera operation. For use in a studio configuration, model RM-B150/B750 remote controllers will adjust basic camera parameters such as gain, iris, white balance, pedestal, and gamma through the 8-pin remote connector on the PMW-EX3 camcorder.

Sony HVR-M35U HDV Playback/Recorder
The HVR-M35U records and plays back HDV 1080i60, 1080i50, 1080p30, 1080p25, 1080p24, and DV/DVCAM 480i60, 576i50.The HVR-M35U is NTSC / PAL switchable. The HVR-M35U also offers 4CH audio recording and playback, and can record HDV 4CH audio signals from the i.LINK input. Additionally, the HVR-M35U offers an integral monaural speaker for convenient audio monitoring, capable of playing back a mixed audio signal.

The HVR-M35U also offers various digital interfaces which include i.LINK for DV/DVCAM and HDV I/O, a dual function HD/SD SDI output connector, as well as AES/EBU BNC connectors. TC OUT is also supplied via a BNC connector. In addition to it's compact design, other features this new deck shares with the HVR-M25U is a ClearPhoto LCD plus 2.7-inch (viewable area, measured diagonally) 16:9 panel for video monitoring, as well as support of both mini and standard size video tape cassettes.

Sony HVR-MRC1 Memory Recording Unit
The HVR-MRC1K Memory Recording Unit from Sony offers stunning innovations for all aspects of the production process - from acquisition to editing, and on to material archiving.

The HVR-MRC1K consists of the HVR-MRC1 main unit, HVRA-CR1 cradle, cold-shoe adaptor and an i.LINK cable. Extremely compact and lightweight, the HVR-MRC1K can be mounted on a HDV™/DVCAM™ camcorder, thereby?converting it to a 'hybrid' recording system with CompactFlash® solid-state memory and tape. It allows the user to record video on a tape and CompactFlash (CF) card simultaneously.

The widely available CF card can be used to offer secure recording, removable media convenience, high durability against external vibration, and high-speed file transfer to a computer. It is possible to record for about 72 minutes on a 16-GB CF card

Sony HVR-S270U HDV Shoulder-mount Camcorder with Memory Recording Unit
The HVR-S270U shoulder-mount camcorder delivers the enhanced functionality professionals have been waiting for: an interchangeable lens system, native progressive recording, and solid-state memory recording and supports standard-size cassettes for extended recording times.
