VMI's Sunnyvale Rental Department Adds New Products
May 31, 2004- The Rental Department in Sunnyvale recently added the Sony PDW-530 Optical Disk Camcorder, Sony PDW1500 XDCAM Compact Deck (MPEG IMX/DVCAM) and Sony DXCD50WS 16:9/4:3 switchable camera to the rental line-up. These products are now available for rent from the Sunnyvale office.

VMI Receives Macrosystems' Dealer of the Year Award
April 18, 2004, Macrosystems presented VMI with the Dealer of the Year Award at NAB. Macrosystems is a manufacturer for set-top editing systems--Casablanca, Avio, Kron and Prestige.

John O'Donovan Joins the VMI, Inc. Sales Team
John O'Donovan started in the A/V industry by doing audio for live sound and multitrack recording. He then moved in doing production for Convention TV's West Coast events. John comes to VMI with over eight years of hands on experience in the production and post-production industry.

March 29, 2004 - Sony signs on VMI as a Sony Broadcast Representative for Northern California. This addition complements VMI's offerings as an authorized Sony Broadcast Reseller, and allows us to offer our customers the complete line of Sony Broadcast and Professional video, presentation and digital imaging products.

VMI Northwest Sharp LCD Dealer
March 15, 2004, VMI Northwest signed a dealer agreement with Sharp LCD Displays. Sharp Displays come in 4:3 and 16:9 formats, with a variety of sizes from 15" to 37" (for the 16:9 LC-M3700).

VMI became a Sound Devices Dealer on March 1, 2004. Sound Devices specializes in audio equipment.

Rosemary Tanfani Joins the VMI, Inc. Sales Team
Rosemary Tanfani comes to VMI with over 20 years experience in the Presentation technology field.

Tanfani, a native of Chicago, moved to San Francisco after college as a schoolteacher, and pr/advertising writer. She began her career in sales when she moved to Sacramento in the 1980's at Sacramento Graphics, where she specialized in 3M products.

She furthered her expertise in Presentation Solutions at Minnesota Western, which became MCSi.

VMI is happy to welcome Tanfani to the Sales Team.
